Arrive by 5:00 PM — thirty minutes before departure to allow time for boarding and the safety briefing.
How to Find Us
- Park in the Sheraton self-park lot. Standard rate $50 — your crew will provide a voucher reducing it to $15.
- Enter the Sheraton lobby and walk straight through to the back of the hotel.
- Take the stairs down to the marina level.
- Turn right, walk past the firepits.
- Look for the giant white beach chair — your JADA crew will be there to greet you.
- Follow the crew to the face dock where JADA is berthed.
Your Celebration
Sixty years — congratulations. JADA and her crew have the whole afternoon set aside
for Susan, her family, and friends. Bring champagne, a cake, music for the Bluetooth
speakers, and whatever makes the day yours. Up to 28 guests aboard a 1938 classic on
San Diego Bay. You will not be rushed.
A Note on Gratuity
Susan has generously arranged today’s charter for everyone aboard. The full
private-charter value is $2,950, graciously extended to her family
and friends at $1,500.
As is customary, a 20% gratuity for the captain and crew — shared
among the captain and mates who care for you on the water — is a gracious way to
thank them for the day. It is traditionally figured on the full $2,950
charter value (about $590), and is always entirely at your
discretion.
